Agra to Ranthambore

Still revelling in our early morning ‘Taj fix’ we boarded the coach to Ranthambore in search of the ever elusive tiger.  Apparently a tiger is spotted maybe once a week.  One was seen the previous day so the odds are against us.  It’s also rare to see a black bear and a leopard.  Very rare to see all three.  Unusual to see two out of three.

Now in the countryside, there are lots of beautiful birds, crickets and alas, MOSQUITOS!

Let's hope the odd (and elusive) tiger might also appear when we go on safari in the morning.....
